For my first community practice I decided to look up the lyrics to Don Omar-Danza Kuduro ft Lucenzo. I absouloutely love this song. Every time I go out I would hear this song playing. It is a festive and fun song! I am always repeating the lyrics. Some words I understand and some words I can't really make out. Since I adore this song so much I decided to look up the lyrics. After looking up the lyrics, I noticed how much the instruments and beats matched what he was signing about. He is singing about dancing and having a good time. This shows you that there are other things that can help you understand what is going on. It is important to pay attention to nonverbal things as well as verbal. I am happy because the next time I hear this song I can tell my friends what he is talking about. This is a good way to learn spanish. It makes me familiar with certain words further expanding my spanish vocabulary.
