Community Practice Four

For my fourth community practice I chose the self checkout option in Spanish at Stop and Shop. Since I use self checkout often, I knew how to use it even though it was speaking only in Spanish. First I selected a language. I ran into a problem when I could not find the option for peppers. Luckily I remembered how to say it from Spanish. I was able to select "pimientos dojos" and enter the amount I wanted to purchase. I reviewed Spanish words that I already knew, while also learning new words for the food items I was not familiar with. I think that this experience was beneficial because it was a creative way to learn new Spanish in everyday life, while doing my grocery shopping.
