Community Practice Number Seven

For my seventh community practice I had a conversation in Spanish with my neighbor Monica. She is from Argentina and her entire family speaks fluent Spanish. I decided to use this as my community practice because she taught me a lot about the country that I did not know. I learned that it is the eighth largest country in the world and some things that are very popular there are tango y futbol. I also learned about the colors of Argentina's flag. Although I did not learn many new Spanish words from Monica I learned a lot about the history of Argentina, and also about what it was like when her mother was growing up there. I think it is interesting to learn about Spanish speaking countries, and I definitely would now be more interested in traveling there with her and her family next summer when they go to visit relatives.
