Antoinette Community Practice #7

Last week Saturday at the hotel I work for, a group of students from Puerto Rico was there. They did not know how to speak english well. I had to try my hardest to understand what they were saying. By doing this we both used a lot of hand gestures to signal words and we also pointed to things. For example, when I told one of the females to sign the registration card. I grabbed a pen and put it towards the paper. With that being said, I was very proud of myself because there were some things I could understand and there were some words I could say in Spanish. Although, I am not perfect in spanish, I still can communicate with people who speak spanish which is very useful for future relationships.
