Based on the lyrics, Selena is saying that even though he (the man she loved) has found someone else, she is saying that she still wishes that he is happy and that she loves him. In the second part she's saying that since the man wasn't content in being with her, she was hoping that he would be content with someone else, even if that someone else wasn't her. Like a flower, she's saying that he gave her so much love, but his love for her has died, in saying that the flower withered. She is saying she knows that she knows how to let go, but it hurts her to leave him.
