For my community practice I watched Cecilia y Las Muchachas. It was a documentary about a young woman's activists movement in Venezuela during the 1950s. A group of young communist women challenge the Venezuelan establishment and the cultural roadblocks faced by women at the time. The film moves between present time and and the past, recounting the historical steps each woman took.
