Community Practice #4

On Friday April 17th I attended a literature conference. The focus was on Gabriel Garcia Marquez's work, translation, and criticism. When I walked in the 12pm session started. Professor Elena Schmitt was speaking about the different translation of a passage from How and Where I Enter: The World of One Hundred Years of Solitude. She was comparing the diction of the two passages. One made you want to read more while the other made you want to put the book down.
